Startups at the Heart of the Championship
What makes the MiniBoss Championship unique is that it’s not based on theoretical knowledge — students present real businesses. Each team showcases a startup they have been developing throughout the school year. These projects are the result of deep research, market testing, teamwork, and many hours of dedication.
Earlier this year, the students already presented their ideas at regional Startup Forums, where they received feedback from experienced mentors, entrepreneurs, and business professionals. With those recommendations in hand, they’ve been refining their projects and are now heading into the next stage: the Startup National Cup Championship.
Preparing for the National Stage
Getting ready for the national level is a serious process. Right now, teams are polishing their presentations, optimizing financial models, updating marketing strategies, testing their products, and improving their public speaking skills.
Our championship preparation program includes:
- Weekly pitch sessions with expert feedback;
- Public speaking and negotiation training;
- Startup simulations that mirror the championship environment;
- Strategic sessions with industry mentors and business consultants.
All of this equips students not only with knowledge but also with the confidence to perform under pressure. Each participant knows they represent more than just themselves — they carry the spirit of their local branch, their city, and ultimately, their country.
One Championship, One Country
The National Cup Championship brings together teams from every corner of Ukraine — from Miniboss branches in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and more. It is a vibrant platform for sharing ideas, building networks, and showcasing the brightest young business minds in the country.
Importantly, the top teams from the national level will go on to represent Ukraine at the Startup World Cup Championship. There, they will compete against peers from around the world, gaining global exposure and international experience.
More Than a Competition
This is more than just a contest — it’s a journey that shapes future leaders. Through this championship experience, students develop:
- Leadership skills: managing teams, making decisions, and owning outcomes;
- Financial literacy: understanding how real businesses function;
- Public speaking confidence: learning how to present and persuade;
- Networking abilities: connecting with fellow young entrepreneurs, mentors, and even potential investors.
Looking Ahead
The final stage of preparation is in full swing. Our students have already come so far — from their first ideas to functional, market-ready startups. Now, with only weeks left until the National Championship, they are working harder than ever to refine their work and perform at their best.
We believe that true victory lies not only in winning awards but in the skills gained, the challenges overcome, and the growth experienced. And soon, on the international stage, our teams will continue that journey — with bold ideas, global ambitions, and unwavering dedication.
Follow their progress, support our young innovators, and celebrate the next generation of entrepreneurs as they rise to the challenge!
