Where It All Began
Larina Academy has long been known for its excellence in English language education, recognized as the largest language school in Ukraine and a certified Cambridge Assessment English Exam Centre. But we knew that in the 21st century, English proficiency alone isn’t enough. The modern world demands more—entrepreneurial skills, adaptability, leadership, and the confidence to think and act globally. That’s why we brought MINIBOSS BUSINESS SCHOOL to Larina Academy: to create a revolutionary space where children not only learn English but live it, through the lens of real-world business education.
From day one, we embraced the MiniBoss philosophy: don’t just teach knowledge—teach children how to apply it in life. Our classes are fully in English, integrated with a robust eight-year curriculum that includes financial literacy, marketing, leadership, and project management. But the real magic lies in the hands-on experience—students create real startups, conduct market research, pitch ideas to international panels, and even find their first customers.
Our First-Year Highlights: Projects That Make an Impact
This year, our young entrepreneurs impressed us all with their creativity, perseverance, and maturity. One of the standout projects is a startup offering high-quality English learning resources for children—engaging and thoughtfully designed workbooks that perfectly complement the Larina Academy curriculum. These materials are not only affordable and effective for home study but also reflect the business acumen and creativity of our students. By purchasing them, families invest in their children’s education while supporting the entrepreneurial growth of our young creators.
Another inspiring initiative is Fluffier—a heartfelt startup where students handcraft adorable, cozy, and personalized knitted toys and gifts. Every piece is infused with warmth and love, showcasing the children’s craftsmanship and business spirit. Through Fluffier, students are learning the value of quality, branding, customer service, and social media marketing. Their work has already touched many hearts and brought smiles to families across the region.
We’re also proud to highlight Moonelly Candles—an eco-conscious startup founded by a student with a mission to give glass waste a second life. Using recycled bottles, soy wax, and natural fragrances, these handmade candles are both stylish and sustainable. The project not only promotes environmental awareness but also demonstrates how business can be a force for good. Moonelly Candles embodies creativity, responsibility, and the spirit of innovation that defines our MiniBoss community.
These projects are not just creative exercises—they are real businesses built from the ground up by children. They demonstrate that with the right guidance and a supportive environment, young minds can turn ideas into meaningful, market-ready products.
All of these projects were presented at MiniBoss StartUp Forums, including national and international stages where our students confidently delivered their pitches in English. These aren’t just school assignments; they are real-life lessons in communication, problem-solving, and global thinking.
Learning Through Doing: The MiniBoss Method
At MiniBoss Larina, we believe the best way to learn is to do. Instead of passive memorization, our students engage in simulations, case studies, and project-based learning. Whether they’re analyzing a company’s financials, planning a marketing campaign, or building a product prototype, they are constantly applying theory to practice.
One of our most powerful tools is the integration of English into every business module. Children don’t just study English—they use it as a working language, preparing them to operate confidently in international environments. This dual approach helps them develop strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to navigate global conversations with ease.
More Than a School: A Launchpad for Future Leaders
What sets MiniBoss apart is not just its curriculum but the mindset it fosters. We teach children to lead. They manage teams, resolve conflicts, and inspire each other—all in a safe, supportive environment. As a result, they don’t just graduate with knowledge—they leave with the confidence to lead, the skills to succeed, and the drive to make a difference.
We have seen firsthand how these experiences shape our students. Some are already preparing to pitch their startups to real investors. Others have begun mentorship roles, guiding younger students through their first business ventures. The spark of leadership is ignited early—and it’s impossible to ignore.
Being Part of the Global MiniBoss Family
Joining the international MiniBoss network has been one of the most transformative experiences for our Academy.. Our students now collaborate with peers from different countries, share ideas across cultures, and see themselves as global citizens. Participating in events like the StartUp National Cup and the StartUp World Championship has given them a sense of purpose and belonging in a much larger movement.
For us, being part of MiniBoss is more than a badge of honor—it’s a responsibility to shape the future by empowering the next generation. It’s a call to continuously innovate, lead by example, and deliver meaningful education that truly prepares children for life beyond the classroom.
Looking Ahead: Building on a Strong Foundation
As we enter our second year, we’re more energized than ever. We plan to expand our programs, launch new partnerships with local and international businesses, and continue to mentor our students toward even greater accomplishments. But no matter how far we grow, our mission remains the same: to equip children with the language, skills, and mindset to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
MiniBoss at Larina Academy is proof that when you combine strong values, innovative teaching, and global vision, incredible things happen. We’re not just teaching English or business—we’re shaping the future. And we invite others to join us in this movement. Because investing in children’s education is the most powerful investment we can make—for them, for our communities, and for the world.
